Im not a truck owner and wasnt interested in rock crawling. However, I did like the idea off light to moderate offroading and overlanding. I knew very little about portal axles before watching this video, but after watching, I have a greater understanding of how they function and what their purpose is. Listening to him explain the engineering behind the designs, and Mateo choosing great questions to ask, I was geeking out just as much as they were. Absolutely incredible, I am blown away and amazed. I guess im gonna start saving. In a couple years ill have 3.88 inch and the rest of the set up. Im due for a front and rear shock upgrade and now i dont have to buy the extended travels i can go oem and save for the Toyota Tacoma 4 Gear Portal Axle Kit!

Just heard about these portals. Question 1: Can I use my stock Lower Ball Joints or will I need after market for more strength.

Question 2: their website says we need to upgrade the housing for the axle. What products do they recommend?

Question 3 since it comes with new calipers, can I use the same brake pads or is there a certain size that I need to replace it with.

Question4: Do they offer trimming service in the wheel wells? (Planning on getting the LC 250 or 6th gen 4R)
