Similarly the song The Toxic Waltz sounds similar to a riff I recently made, never heard the song before but my friend showed it to me and it clicked that mine was just a slower, downtuned version of the opening riff.

When a large label records an album they are usually finished with the actual writing and recording side of it 6-7 months MINIMUM before its released. The writing process usually begins at least a year before the album is released. They almost certainly wrote, recorded, mixed and mastered their entire album before you even wrote this.
