Ol School European trick. You see it a lot in the European Amateurs (Usyk/Lomo etc). It's actually a VERY old school trick, often forgot about in American trainers. The last trainer in the States that I knew that taught that well, was Bill "Pop's" Miller. It makes sense that Canello knows how to use this. He has a TON of international Amateur experience.

Bro I don't get why he has so many haters. People claim he cherry picks fights when he fought 4 champions of his weight in a row, took every belt and now is moving up. Watch this Canelo guy fight and he is short with short hands he has to come in to land punches and when he plants his feet to throw hard shots he drops down in height about four inches, so you have light him up and move. Watch how Jose cotto rocked him in that fight, he can hit!and if you beat all night long you win the fight.
