Luticha Doucette is a 36 year veteran disability justice advocate who graduated from the Rochester Institute of Technology with a degree in Bioinformatics where she developed protein surface prediction algorithms. Currently, Luticha lives as a free black person and business owner in Rochester, NY with two cats, Luna and Callie. She is the owner of Catalyst Consulting, which helps organizations, leaders, and advocates examine equity across race, gender identity, and disability in policies, practices, procedures, and relationships.

Dorian Taylor is a disability justice activist and an adaptive athlete. They work as an ADA disability Specialist Project/Program Manager for King County and a Paralegal at Lavender Rights Project (LRP). Their work at LRP focuses on elevating the power and autonomy of the Black intersex and gender diverse through intersectional legal and social services.

In this video, Doucette and Taylor both touch on their individual activism efforts and cover the ongoing intersectional movement, its history as part of the collective civil rights battles that preceded and still persist in the present, and how you can get involved as a comrade vs. an ally.
