One thing you didn't mention (and I see this a lot in english speaking enviroments): speaking multiple languages. In higher class social settings there's never the "do you speak a second language" question. It's always "how many languages do you speak?".
If you're european and only speak one or two you're looked down by other people.
I see that a lot of USA americans sometimes look down on immigrants and children of immigrants for speaking a second language, when they're actually the ones that should feel bad about being monolingual.
The more languages you know, the easier they get.

Good manners is priceless, the status symbols will follow on from that. I have met the rudest false people with flash cars and immediately downgraded their status because of lack of social manners. Every step up the ladder will be judged.

What I do for a living is no one's business.
If they're not interested in finding out who I am, fine! It's my way or the highway.
The less people know, the better.Let them think, you're poor. That way, they don't ask you for favours or money. Don't show off. Don't tell them, what you have.No watch, no car, no super- model, no yacht, no expensive clothes will change who you are and what you have or haven't invested in yourself. How many languages do you speak? Fluently? What did you study? Where do you work? Do you play an instrument? What sports are you good at? Can you do things, other people can't do? Are you creative? How does it show? Do you read and what? Did you learn things for the love of learning? What fascinates you? Where and when and how did you fail?
The answer to these questions should determine your status.
Seriously, A-luxers, everybody can wear designer- clothes and watches.That doesn't make them any better, richer or more competent.

Just loved so much living in the Dominican Republic the time I did.
The capital city is so modern, metropolitan and tropical at the same time, people from all over the world, it’s like being in Miami though.
Super friendly people, they just make you feel welcome any time all the time wherever you go, super delicious food, drinks, tropical weather, and most of all, having the chance AT ALL TIMES AND ANY TIME to drive to Punta Cana on the east coast, the whole north shore also to enjoy myself and absolutely everything with the most beautiful beaches of the world, the awesome Beach Resorts, mountains and the whole country as well.
This video just brought me beautiful memories.
