I have planted 3 pecan trees in my orchard. 2 are around 15 ft, the other I planted as a pollinator this year stands about 5 ft. We have many mature hickory trees, but were quite surprised to find a single walnut tree on our property. The hickory and walnut tree produce heavy yields yearly. This is the first year I've seen flowers on one of the pecan trees. I'm hoping for a few lbs of pecans this year!
