Former Pakistan PM Imran Khan was shot at a rally in Wazirabad. He was shot in the leg but was stable while being taken to the hospital. He waived at supporters too.

It seems the army and US doesn't like him anymore. His ambition for an independent charge of Pakistan's internal and external affairs doesn't seem agreeable with Chinese as well, who want Pakistan as it's own province. He now only has people's support but that can't save him from assassination as well. May common sense prevail and the army give up its domination of the country, although that will likely not happen.
