Russia-Ukraine crisis: NATO activates forces for first time

The Ukrainian capital of Kiyv is under attack, and the Ukrainian president says that the Russian military will storm the city Friday night. This is all coming as NATO leaders make a Russian advance by activating the NATO response force for the first time.

The NATO response force is only protect NATO countries, not to engage in fighting in Ukraine, which is not a member of the alliance.
