I would say it’s different but every single day I’m seeing huge companies want digital marketers and more and more of them too posting jobs right now. It’s insane.

What happened was the explosion in remote work so you got a lot more people applying who are not qualified who want fast easy money. So it takes longer to hear back from these applications.

But the story is the same, too many people with no qualifications whatsoever applying to these things! Have a kickass resume and portfolio and you’ll still stand out in the sea of dog crap even at big companies with hundreds of people applying.

It was faster back a couple of years ago before remote work became mainstream though.

Also I read your book twice, there was so much information in it! I completely agree with everything you said in the book and I learned quite a bit from it as well. I am curious though..are there any college degrees that you DO recommend..Either as a stand-alone or to pair with digital marketing. (I have free college tuition up to the bachelors level with financial aid so debt wouldn’t be an issue) I can’t decide what to do and I feel so genuinely torn and behind in life. Saw you on Shane Hummus' channel. Cool stuff! Thanks for the info that things aren't completely filled-up Seth! I am an Indy filmmaker, who was self-taught (no expensive film school). I recently won The Peoples Choice Award at my last festival, but sales for my documentaries have lagged. I figured mastering DM would help in that regard, because the biz side of things is so neglected. I have an opportunity for a Certificate in DM and one in Multi-Media. What do you think of adding the 1-2 Punch of Video expertise with mastery in Digital Marketing (for both boosting my filmmaking and getting a new job... maybe becoming a Digital Media Marketer? Would you recommend I just teach myself the Cinema Cameras and skip the 2nd Certificate? I passed 60 not long ago-- will I be discriminated against? Thanks much!!!

Hi Seth. I'm seriously considering buying your course. I have a few questions:

1. I am from Bangladesh. I am 22 now. I have upper intermediate English. It's just that I have an accent? Do you think think my accent will be an issue? I have good English It's just that my accent might me thick. Do you this will be a problem for me in getting jobs?
