Razer Huntsman V2 Analog | Game Changer or Gimmick?

In this video we take a look at the new for 2021 Razer Huntsman V2 Analog. Not to be confused with also recently released Huntsman V2. Think of the V2 Analog is more of a upscaled Elite with Analog optical keys, while the newer V2 is a redesigned V1 without edge LEDs.

Awesome review! I've ordered this keyboard to test out and to see if I like it enough. I really wish Razer would make a tkl version of this keyboard though, with the side rgb, maybe the volume nob, a detachable usb-c cable, and possibly the USB passthrough. That would be the perfect keyboard to me, but sadly it's difficult to find a keyboard with all of those features without building one.

I am looking for a silent keyboard and I found a few, and my first choice was RAZER HUNTSMAN V2 .
But I'm confused and I don't know whether the red buttons are quieter or the black buttons!
Please guide me which colors are quieter

This keyboard is also excellent for programming and ergonomics and is the most comfortable keyboard I have ever used.

I kind of wish they bundled the cables together in the same sleeve, I'd much rather have a chunkier cable sleeve with them splitting out at the end than two separate cables all the way down.

Thanks for this review, really would have liked to have an analog keyboard instead of having to use an game pad for driving portion of a game, but this doesnt seem like the best solution. Great review.

I got a Wooting One.
The analog and 2-step actuations are hard to control, but there are a few scenarios where it is rather easy and intuitive, for example mapping the first actuation on a movement key to walk and the deeper one to run, or run and then sprint.

The analog feature work on a game like gta 5? I have the new v3 pre ordered! Very hyped.

Analog sounds very good. but after using keyboards for over 40 years I don't think I can be so smooth on the key to walk, jog, run 1-2 mm difference is too little for me. It's either going to be ON or OFF for me.

I believe that there is not LED on the monitor side because it may create reflections on the monitor.

can the wasd keys be setup in game as an axis ? I mean if the game supports a controller can it be setup that way ?

Better to take the v2 not analog, changing the actuation point cancel your muscle memory and is also not so precise, check the test from rtings
