It is also a piece about the personal joy Asatryan experienced when after many years of studying and working in music, he finally got his own piano.

Dave Geodakyan’s debut album On the Run, released by Oberton Records, is an original Armenian jazz concept album that reminds the listener to take a breath in the never-ending marathon of life.

Dave Geodakyan is a young Armenian avant-garde classical and jazz fusion composer, conductor, and double bass player. He has founded one of the state jazz orchestras - the Big Band at State Music School after A. Spendiaryan. Geodakyan aims to lighten up people through music by consciously bending the seriousness of the academic style.

Finally, after being involved with many music projects and having a rich career background Dave Geodakyan has released his debut album On the Run, which was created by the sextet the artist has founded. The album contains original compositions of Dave Geodakyan and sextet members that are a blend of hip-hop/funk and traditional jazz with a strong connection to the last couple of decades of Armenian jazz culture. On the Run is an original concept album about the hectic pace of life, being on the run all the time, and aims to remind the runners not to forget about their inner peace.
