Olympus OM-D E-M1 Mark II - Back Button Focusing with Gavin Hoey

Olympus Ambassador Gavin Hoey shows you how to set up Back Button Focusing on the Olympus OM-D E-M1 Mark II. The Back Button Focus feature allows you to separate the firing and focusing functions onto two separate buttons, and with the Olympus OM-D E-M1 Mark II you can assign these functions to whichever buttons you choose.

Gavin, I really appreciate all your tips. My batteries went dead in my EM-1 Mii and my camera reset to factory defaults. As soon I started using it I instantly realized how much more efficiently I work with back button focus now that I’m used to it.

Hi Gavin ! I would be so grateful if you could explain how to undo back button focussing. I have taken over my late husband's camera and I cannot function with back button focussing. Everyone tells you how to set it but not how to unset it.

If anyone else wants to know the easiest way to turn off back button focussing I have NOT found it. So I have done a full reset of custom modes. Now I have to put all my custom modes back in. Would be great if it was as easy to find this out as it is to actually set back button focussing in the first place.
