Old school kyoshio! I love reading about this in Tower Hobbies. I got the one from 2019 sealed in the box. Kyoshios are good but forget about customer service/parts support.

I have an Ultima II, and I really wanted to like it but it couldn't compete with the performance of my TA RC10 Team car. It was a shame too because the Ultima seemed a lot lighter.

It seems like the transmission on the Kyoshos are less efficient. They have a distinctive whine to them that I didn't hear on my TA or Tamiya cars. For fun, I bolted a modified motor onto it. It moved a lot quicker but was still underwhelming.

Your videos make me want to buy a few new batteries and take my cars out of storage.
