Beautiful work. I have a custom 44x7 matrix using individual LEDs that I built, using 7 74HC595 shift registers (6 74HC595's for the columns, and 1 74HC595 for the rows, and an Arduino Uno controller. I love the idea of adding the bluetooth control to my project.
Do you think I could adapt your code to use the 74HC595 setup instead of the shift registers that you used?
