Really unimpressed with the fact that you cannot use any wireless BT headphones with the PS4, not even a lot of Sony wireless headphones will work with it. The pricing is ridiculously high as well, for that amount of money is better to just get a set of steel series and plug into the controller.

Ive never been one for decent headsets untill a couple of years ago where i was given a hyperx cloud head set which is wired granted but wired into the pad but the clarity and sound are immense the headset started to fade in one ear after 15 months or so of solid use however they all come with 2 year warranty and the customer service support from hyper x gaming was absolutely brilliant sent me out a replacement part within a day i would really recommend them over the garbage ps4 ones ive had previously

Playstation Access, are we just supposed to guess how much they cost?? Fairly important information, don't you think? I understand the cost may vary in different locations online and around the world, but the mentioning the amount they're available for from a popular seller such as the Playstation website or Amazon is a no-brainer, surely.

I hope they changed the material on the gold / platinum ear pieces then as the originals that me and my mate own have totally fallen apart. I have the white ones and my friend has the black and they've both disintegrated and are peeling vinyl everywhere to the point it falls off in your hair and ears etc.

Outside of my Gold headset, which is fantastic, I use the Turtle Beach Stealth 700 set. The clarity is great for multiplayer sessions of Rainbow Six Siege, and it has a nice bass impact that some sets tend to be missing. Definitely recommended.

I bought an actual proper microphone last year and use that for talking to friends and making videos. I use to use the PS4 2.0 headset prior to that but made my coumnentary sound like I was underwater lol

Even though they are a bit older, the Pulse Elites still blow all these out of the water.

Highly recommend the Razor Threshers even if you just get the standard ones like I have, excellent sound quality and comfort for a good 5 hours or so before it starts getting uncomfortable.
