Even the developers forget about this tower. You are supposed to buy the tower within the month of october, however due to it being bugged. You can buy it whenever you can and it been like this for a while. It isn't really classed a event tower anymore due to this. Hopefully they fix it so it goes off-sale at the end of october.

tbh its honestly pretty op for mid game, and its not exactly an event tower cuz i bought it when the brawler came out and i felt so good about it, , although necromancer is like uhh swarmer/archer, its a forgotten tower, no one actually uses it except to flex(i mean, necro aint a big flex but ye) but its been around for a limited time, and it didnt get lots of balancing, but they just exist to exist, although a necromancer rework would be interesting

I've said it before and I'll say it again. Necromancer doesn't know what it wants to do. Units want to be in the back of the map to maximize their potential damage as they stay on the map longer. DPS towers want to normally be in the front-middle of the map so they can kill enemies quicker while (typically) having good loops and turns to maximize their damage. Necromancer falls into a weird middle ground where he wants to be in the back so he can maximize the units but needs to be in the front to spawn them.

Mercenary Base also has this flaw but unlike Necromancer he has ways to get around the weakness. The damage buff is amazing especially with towers like Accelerator, the ability lets you deploy units in the back, and of course it passively spawns the units.

If you want Necromancer to be actually viable outside of joke loadouts you have to completely redesign the tower from scratch.

Honestly necromancer is my very much favorite and I will gladly use it in this next event it is I would say the best Tower to deal with flying enemies it can hit 7 en max level is a gravestones doing pretty good damage and its summons I would say are the best overall necromancer goaded they just need to buff the other levels does max levels the only good one

I always use necro even on bad maps here still pretty good on most maps

I would take it if they added lead detection and removed the delay reasons make it sucks

Imo necro is a decent tower.Its very good against hordes (and flying) enemys and the skeletons are underrated like 3.5k hp is pretty good HOWEVER the ability takes a long time to "recharge" and its map dependant

Most likely the reason why people dont talk about necro is that initially it was a mediocre tower, which kinda ruined the perception of Necro, this might also be why most newer towers are stronger then average since it completely ruins how people view them if they come out weak

Necromancer is good just on level 4 as it doesn't need to rely on piercing or projectiles tomfoolery.

If they made it shoot beams on level 0-3 (like increase the amount from 1 beam to 2 and 3) i can see it becoming more viable.

similiar to executioner, necromancer is a versatility tower that can almost do everything but doesnt best at anything thats why both of them got outclassed by end-game towers (but i always have both in my loadout cuz there are cool)
