I am not saying the Swiss clip has to change because that'd kill the comedy, but WW2 was anything but chill for Switzerland. We had to convert dirt patches next to roads into agricultural land to grow enough food, every male was constantly on high alert to be drafted (next to the usual conscription, which we still do), we built mountain fortress by the boatload, we shot down many planes violating the airspace, etc.

Germany as the revengeful uncle doesn't really fit. Americans with German ancestry is the largest group in the US. Germany (West Germany at least) also joined NATO in the 1950s and is a close ally ever since. Arguably a much closer ally than Japan.

Maybe Germany could be the mean grandpa? Even the British, the dad, are descendants of the Saxons so... Idk...
