I'll assume the LaunchControl will not control MIDI hardware. If not, what other options are there in this size, ie. 16 knobs and a few pads (or just knobs really)!??

Will the all user settings work in Live 8? I noticed you're using Live 9.

How do you record the knobs... as in when I twist the knobs while i'm recording a sound, and I play back the sound, I want the same exact thing sound to play back, but without needing to move the knobs again. Wow, um I'm trying to make a little bit of sense here, but I'm not really the best at explaining my problem. Let me try and thoroughly explain my problem in steps.

1. I record a sound while I'm twisting 1 of 16 knobs on the launch control, so that let's say I want Space amount to gain during the recording, so I twist the according knob to the right.

2. I stop recording, go back to the beginning of the recording and hit play.

3. The recorded sound that I hear plays the note(s) that I recorded, but doesn't play the space amount gain and when I hit the play button, the space amount is what I have my knob currently turned to.

So know that you somewhat understand my issue, how do i record the "twisting" of my knobs? If I need to sort of explain things a bit better, PLEASE let me know, because I'd like to solve this issue asap! Thanks

It'll be a lot more helpful if you show exactly what buttons you're hitting on the screen alongside what you're doing in Ableton at the same time. And not have the view of you hitting buttons upside down to the viewer a small percentage of the time. Please make note of that for future demos.

It's a piece of crap with little support or instructions. Good luck getting yours to work how you want it to.
