The primary reason I think the abuse was true was when they admitted that Lyle had abused Eric. They could’ve made up the part about the parent abusing them and just leave it at that, but to admit in open court that the one abused the other takes it to a different level for me. With that said they had a choice. They were young men but old enough to know better - they had options. I don’t think they’ll ever get out.
