@GarethDavidWebb his answer to the condition of his tray back is"it's only a work truck"..all the more reason for looking after it..and can you imagine his look when he found out a second hand box is $1800:00 our money.!+clutch+ labor...

After a year of trying to find another cheaper gear box, he just left the Nissan at the work shop...It's only worth 200 in scrap.

I've just saved my car from death by noticing a clatter at tick over. Turned out it was the flywheel coming loose. The problem is the noise creeps up on you so slowly you think it's normal. It takes someone else to ask, "what the helll is that noise?"
