I’m really glad the second movie took a risk and actually decided to put Eddie and Venom’s relationship on the big screen. It’s really fun to watch these two interact! It’s prolly one of the only strengths the first movie had imo. So when we get a movie that’s just Eddie and Venom interacting even more it feels real nice :)

I'm convinced that all of the homophobes in the comments have never read a Venom comic in their life.

The homophobic comments about them literally just making the comics into a movie is astonishing like read the comics before saying its going to ruin it 😂

A lot of people give this and the first movie a lot of flak and i see why. Venom (1 & 2) are not true adaptations of the direct comic book lore. However they do something i think thats much better. They take parts of the lore and they have fun with it. Much like Deadpool isn't a true following of the Deadpool Comics, Venom seems to follow that process and where Deadpool gets slack for it because it's part of his character to be breaking the 4th wall etc Venom doesn't have that kind of outlet so people tend to be harsher on it.
The thing is there's a lot to the stories and it gives the writers a lot of creative freedom to have fun with it and i think that the fun they have with the story translates to a better movie. i enjoyed Venom more then a lot of other superhero movies because it didn't take its self seriously and had fun with the characters and while it tried to integrate as much with the MCU as it could people forget that the first film didn't have the options that Venom 2 had so it had to act as a standalone movie.
Im really proud of what Serkis and Hardy accomplished and hope to see Venom again with the two of them in the MCU being awseome!

Loved this movie and really do believe Venom 3 should keep this great combination of Andy Serkis with Hardy. Story line was a perfect running time. Literaly did what was written on the can! So, different too from the other Marvell series, loved the humour, it started, it finished, I wanted and could have watched it again immediatly. Brilliant👍

Lol homophobes trying so hard to dismiss Venom and Eddie's romantic relationship😂 If you don't like it, don't watch. 🤷

Just watched it last night. Haha this confirmed for me that venom and Eddie are in some sort of romantic relationship. I really enjoyed that aspect of it in the first. They listened to feedback and expanded it on the second. TBH though I wasn’t that impressed with the storyline. It felt a bit messy and just thrown together. Great for Tom’s first story writing though. Sometimes it’s hard to care about Eddie because there’s not a lot of character development with him. I care more about Venom knowing he left his people and connected more with a human. With Eddie, I don’t know any of his background at all. He has no reason to live really cause he has no family or friends. Maybe they should show why. Though that seems common with most of Tom’s roles.
