You are best dr. Kushnerrr! I love the idea that you teach like we know nothing about the topic. You can’t even imagine how much you have helped me in my academics. Please keep making such videos for us🫶🏻🫶🏻💓💓💓💓

Absolutely PERFECTLY explained, 10+/10 !

Now, how to intercept emhijack and direct it to original path (visual cortex)?
Is by practicing (self-reflection and accountability) actually builds/improves Thalamus control-center? :)

Thank you for presenting teaching videos that are awesome, clear, easy to follow, thorough and succinct!

Since the diagram in this video shows the left hemisphere and the structures in the left hemisphere, I wonder what are the differences in functionality between the amygdala (and other limbic system structures) in the right vs. left hemisphere? Are you speaking here about the left amygdala or both?

I ask because I recently heard Dr. Allan Schore say in an interview that the right amygdala is developing during the third trimester, and if the mother is significantly stressed during that period that will affect the development of the right amygdala. My mother had a stillbirth 3 years before I was born, and I am sure she had panic attacks during pregnancy, especially during the 3rd trimester.

I just found your videos and thank you so much.

Interesting!
But I understand that if I see something ambiguous or unexpected such as a shadow at night. Why does it happen in response to familiar stimuli such as text messages?

Is it that the amygdala is hypersensitive, or that the Pre Frontal Cortex is weaker or diminished in some way? And what would do that???

do people with asd, high iqs, and psycopathy have smaller amydalas, but larger prefontal cortex, or is everyones the same size
