I didn't know you could tap forward to quietly but painstakingly inch forward on marble tiling so she doesn't hear you, so this part was a fast dash to read every book I could stumble upon until I found the right one. Then me fumbling through my bag in a panic to find the key ring in time before the statues or her caught up.

I remember reading that letter about the ring and thinking "...No, surely it isn't HER I'm gonna sneak past, right? That one? We're 3 games early!"

Man, seeing this makes me wonder if one day, some ambitious members of the Thief community will try their hands at remaking (or uh... demaking in this case) Deadly Shadows on the Dark Engine. I can't help but wonder about that with how Looking Glass very much planned to make a Thief 3 before they had to close down their doors.

The first time I went into the restricted library I was unaware that a little girl was patrolling even when I already read a letter stating she was staying with The Keepers for some time. Thankfully I heard her footsteps and hid before she could catch me, I hate how I had to slowly move floor by floor since I ran out of moss arrows. I never saw her transform but I was so terrified of her that I refused to go back for the shortcut, well that and I missed the harp so I had to go back to the reliquary and I escaped through the main entrance. The fact that she's the hag from Thief Deady Shadows is a awesome reference.
