A composer who delights in playing plucked string instruments from around the world, Paul Roberts has a background in concert performing and music therapy. His music often reflects cross-cultural influences, some of which are present in this piece, a creation of his imagination played on Turkish Lavta, a lute from ancient times, set up as single-course MANDOCELLO in DGDA tuning. Lavta purchased from Ethnic Musical; sent from Istanbul, Turkey to a Colorado mountain sanctuary.

soon to include the Ome banjo line.

Love this! Maybe add a few more mutations/figures at the end, it came kind of suddenly. Also are you playing on a 6 string Lavta? What is the tuning? Would love to know

Very beautiful playing, Paul. I count six pegs (is there an empty peg hole) but only four strings, what am I missing? It's sounds so wonderful, you don't really need more strings anyway.
