When they came through Rochester a while back. Dixie broke his guitar strap and was asking people in the audience for a shoelace to fix it with. Everyone was just standing there all slack jawed and shit. I reached down pulled out one of my shoelaces and gave it to him. He promptly said "thank ya right kindly" and handed me the bottle of Evan Williams he was drinking and let me take a nice swig off of it. Class act all the way. Everybody that didn't give him a lace was mad as fuck. :D
