Hmmm maybe that's why they like hi-vis vests so much. It's not the colour (or just the colour), but the negative charge from the material.

Bumble bees are always bumbling up to me on site.

We had SO MANY BEES in the school field last summer!! Cause it was so wet n rainy that tons of clover grew (and mushrooms!!) and the bees LOVED it! And they were such friendly neighbours to the kiddos, too, didn’t bother a soul. I love bees so much. ❤️

I love Bumbles. I rescued one a couple days ago, and have rescued several bees over the years. But Bumbles are somehow a bit special.

I saved a bumblebee from drowning once, although I didn't know it was a bumblebee at the time. I was fishing and I saw this bug struggling in the water. So I moved my fishing line right next to it and it was able to grab it and gain purchase on it and a second later it flapped its wings and flew off and zoomed right over my head. I had to duck. I like to think it was his way of thanking me.
