My piano cover of "The Final Game", from the dramatic 7th episode of The Queen's Gambit! Enjoy!

Flowkey is a website for exactly that - they have even added a few of my arrangements to their database. I recommend checking them out!

Original music composed by Carlos Rafael Rivera.
This cover was done by ear, so I don't have any sheet music at the moment.

I love to view this piece with Harmon being the erratic right hand that is brilliant yet flawed and Borgov being the consistent, reliable yet unimaginative left hand. They are like two matching blades and honestly made this show brilliant even though we didn't get to see much of Borgov in this beautiful show.

Such a beautiful show. On one hand I’m sad that we won’t get a second season and on the other I’m glad it ended on such a perfect note.

This was fantastic! Do you think you'll cover any other pieces from The Queen's Gambit, like Ceiling Games?

Thank you for this beautiful video highlighting the great musical score in this great series! Now I want to bring up something that may seem trivial but as a chess master myself there was one imagery that I found a little curious if you'll permit me. Look at the image above of Beth and Borgov paying particular attention to the placement of the knights. The curious thing is Borgov has
his own knights facing inward towards himself. I think in all the scenes in the series where Borgov was playing this was how he placed his knights. Now I suppose there is nothing wrong about
this but it does seem to be a rather passive placement and in all the years I've competed in tournaments (goes back to the 60's) I've never seen anyone place their knights like that. Beth has her's facing forward which is what many players do, especially aggressive ones which fits her image. Bobby Fischer, I think placed his queen knight sideways facing to the right and his king knight sideways to the left never changing the direction as the game proceeds. I do the same. And before anyone here accuses me of not having a life (somewhat true) please note that chess player's notice things like this, I think a you tube video is actually out there somewhere on this very topic. Anyway bottom line is this is such a magnificent series that we can't help noticing the details that make it great and we can't thank enough the people such as yourself who have honored it with another great video.

Oh, I just discovered the soundtrack of this show and one day later you upload your arrangement! Very nice, I love how dark and yet sophisticated it is:)
