So wonderful to touch bases again while you were here in Idaho Falls. I loved watching you stitch in hand again, but also loved the beautiful scenery around Glacier. You are so right, some of us have to live vicariously through your adventures. Hope your current loop goes well. BTW it’s ironic you are knitting again because I am too. My daughter has me doing a cabled scarf in preparation for the Idaho winter. (I know, not your favorite!). Safe travels, my friend. So looking forward to any and all updates.

Your stitching is beautiful Jan. It is so nice to see someone stitching in hand in a stitch with me. I’ve switched to this method myself recently as I was becoming increasingly uncomfortable using frames and am (somehow) managing to manhandle a bedspread sized piece of fabric on a HAED supersized project. I completely get what you mean about the cat in your lap more often when it’s a smaller piece of fabric as I can almost feel the disgust coming from mine when he can’t get up in my lap if I’m working on my big projects and his purrs of delight when he can actually fit are so adorable.

Good news about your potential move to France. I wish you well with your adventures on this side of the pond (I’m in Scotland).
