I was sure Poltergeist(2015) was going to be on here, but I guess it's so forgettable that they forgot to put it on the list

were we watching the same move, THE WOLFMAN? It moved pretty well, ABSOLUTELY had some suspenseful and gripping moments, and was pretty damn brutal and violent. Just fun all around

I actually liked Wolfman, especially the part when he was running through London, causing all types of mayhem. You can't take that boy nowhere.

'My Bloody Valentine 3D' wasn't so bad.
The remake of 'Carrie' should definitely be on this list.

I really liked the I Spit on Your Grave remake. Always watch it if it's there when channel hopping.

However, for 'forgettable' remakes- what about The Omen?

As someone who saw My Bloody Valentine in theaters, it made it way better with the 3D actually being 3D. I also really enjoyed the Wolfman remake.

I can't believe this list forgot to mention The Amityville Horror (2005), The Omen (2006), Pyscho (1998), Poltergeist (2015), and A Nightmare on Elm St. (2010). These remakes too are forgettable.

I thought the My Bloody Valentine remake was pretty good as far as horror remakes go. I revisit it from time to time

I'm amazed the remake of Nightmare on Elm Street isn't on this list.

I didn't terribly mind the remake of "My Bloody Valentine". I do love the original - one of the first slasher movies I saw when I was about 7 or 8 years old. Maybe that's why I was a bit lenient on the remake - the idea of the setting (mine) and the miner's suit were scary AF. Also the boobs in the remake.

A deleted scene from the wolfman would have made a great scene. Talbot as the wolfman crashed a party that had a blind women singer. She couldn't see what people were scared of so she ended up feeling his face

Weird thing about the My bloody Valentine remake is that storywise, it almost feels like it was meant to be a sequel.

I complete forgot about Firestarter remake. That movie was hyped so hard only for it to crash and burn (no pun intended)

I did indeed forget most of these remakes existed, even the ones I've seen. Weird they decided to shove the CW/WB heart throbs into horror remakes ...Tom Welling in The Fog, Chad Michael Murray in House of Wax, Jensen Ackles in My Bloody Valentine and Jared Padalecki in Friday the 13th.

If we're on the topic of Stephen King adaptations, the recent miniseries remake of The Stand was quickly forgotten, ironic as it aired during an actual pandemic

The 2010 I Spit On Your Grave is f'n great.

I prefer the new I Spit on Your Grave film over the original. It gave you room to breathe whereas the original was just assault after assault after assault on this poor woman without giving you a second to process the awful, gritty things you were seeing before more awful, gritty things happened. It didn't feel like a horror movie as much as it felt like a traumatic experience. It's one of those films that I kick myself for watching the entirety of.

I actually liked the new I Spit on Your Grave films. Part 3 is underrated. It has more story than the others. It's not just constant SA and torture. There's more plot and I thought it was interesting.

Not agreeing with the I Spit on your Grave hate. I actually liked it.

Gotta disagree re ISOYG it caused quite the buzz among the Horror community online and played several festivals and even garnered two sequels so it was successful enough. I also thought it kicked ass as did many other fans online.
