I think this was a good-debate..& a good segment..I'm from America..if I could chime in..I think the West has a lot it could learn from China & China a lot ot could learn from the west..I think the West can be a beacon in term's of creativity, innovation & "charisma"..and China can be a beacon for wisdom, discipline & "overall" education..For example..Barack Obama may not have the highest iq, but he's loved the world over 4 his "charisma"..I don't think Donald Trump is a good example for children OR married life..anyway..I think the West overdoes rebelliousness @ x with it's social-media rant's & cyberbullyin' that exposes it's lack of education or lack of discipline..however..I think China & many Asian countries' can OVER-do it with the discipline from what you see in the high suicide rates, depression & longer school hrs..I think a balance is the nordic countries'(denmark, norway, sweden, finland)..who have shorter school day's..no "standardized" test's & even no homework, yet seem to outperform most school's globally on final test's, many ppl. believe bc they encourage their kid's to express their opinion, contribute to the lesson, debate & have intelligent dialogue, "therefore" reducing rebelliousness.

The most important lesson for Chinese students in the global era is submission to the supreme authority of the CCP. The second most important lesson is that both they and their families will be harassed, imprisoned or murdered if they forget lesson one. Once you have mastered lessons one and two, let your imagination and creativity run wild!
