that is not insulting and sexist nor degrading women. the producer asked emerson coz she was going to play HIS love interest evn though they are real life couples, so his permission is necessary to cast ANYONE in that role, irrespective of the person and their relationship with him outside the screen

Thumbs-UP #285 I am, Friday 31 August 2018! I have missed so much! And I LOVE the idea! I wish more actor couples could be cast together AS loves on their show. I think it would add an extra amount of intimacy that can not be produced through “acting”. Even off-screen they look REALLY good together.
