Se i cantato ri di oggi ascoltavano i grandi come De Lucia, il Bel Canto sarebbe in migliora salute, ma, per ritrovare la loro tecnica, è ancora un altro problema!

This is the first performance of this difficult aria that makes sense. A triumph of the singers art. Today's performances are so boring. I have never heard anyone say, "I can't wait for Dalla Sua Pace!" But if this kind of singing were the norm, we would all wait for it.
Bravo, De lucia and the lost art of singing.
