The last time I thought I would file my taxes early do you know what happened? They audited me and asked me to fill out a form t2125, statement of business activities which I did and argued to legitimize my expenses.... which they then re-filed my taxes without telling me and neglected to include tax benefits like Working Income Tax Benefit then claimed I owed taxes that I did not actually owe and they actually STOLE MY REFUNDS FROM OTHER YEARS... after giving up trying to correct their mistake 10 years went by till covid and I had an opportunity to sort them out, which I then did and proved THEM WRONG... and interestingly they committed tax fraud, tax evasion, theft, harassment, etc..etc...etc.. and when I contacted authorities to have CRA charged with these crimes they told me there was nothing I could do.... yet if I were to intentionally defraud them the average sentence is 8 years and penalty of $800 000...
