You didnt do a launch control
What you did it is only break boost launch.
You have to hold the stability system switch (not tapping it once) then when it turns completely off, you can launch it afterwards (it should show a launch control sign flag on the display when you put your foot on the gas and break ) then you can launch it

BMW m8 is the most underrated bmws out there

I might got it wrong but I believe you think the laser light technology is some kind of adaptive led lighting technology but it is not. It really uses a high power blue laser beam fired on to a phosphorus reflective surface on the reflectors of the high beams. Yes the main beams are adaptive leds but the high beam is an actual laser illumination. Btw, it is good to hear that USA finally decided to change the regulations for laser lights. They will be the only illumination method of the future.
