Bless. I will never understand why people pretend cons are always perfect and nothing goes wrong, and I totally agree. We as a community need to start acknowledging that because it makes future cons so much better

Sorry to hear that Connecticon this year wasn't good for you. :(
I guess if I had a cosplay that might not have been the best thing ever type story. Here is mine: For me it was back in 2014 when I first went to my first Connecticon. I did a Deathstroke cosplay. I knew that it wasn't the best Deathstroke cosplay at the con but hey I made a Deathstorke cosplay to the best of my ability with a limited budget and materials. I didn't care about what other people though about the cosplay. I still had fun at the con with friends at the end of the day.
