I've held this position since it happened. Benedict was far too sharp to make a minor mistake. By resigning the way he did he invalidated the next papacy. And he still held onto his office until his death. This would conclude that the see is now vacant.

Thank you Mr. Westen for publishing this interview. This is a very circumstantiated research that has been known in Italy for a few years. For some reason, like you have mentioned, this work has not been discussed in North America. I commend you for deciding to present this research on your show. Dr. Cionci's work is clear, logical and supported by famous latinists, lawyers, historians and theologians. So much so that already four other books have been published confirming the non abdication of Pope Benedict and the Impeded See study. These books are: "Where Are You Peter?" by Father Alessandro Minutella, "Non C'è Un Vero Papa Dalla Morte Di Benedetto XVI" by Carlo Maria Pace, "Habemus Antipapam" by Father Fernando Cornet and "Papa O Non Papa - La Chiesa Nella Tempesta" by Sandro Pomiato. It would be helpful if these authors could be interviewed on your show as well.

One has to question why Benedict's personal documents were burned immediately after his death. And since when does a Pope's vestments wind up in a museum?? They want to erase him.

What BenXVI did was VALID. He absolutely stuck to the rules. The first public announcement about his supposed 'resignation' was a tweet by a journalist, and everyone followed that! And so the deception, led by wishful thinking on the part of those who hated Pope Benedict, broke out everywhere, with everyone trusting a TWEET. Tweeting is not a legal action of Canon Law. But what Pope Benedict did and said was absolutely in line with all Canon Law and Church documents. Therefore, it is misleading to ask, 'Did he fake his resignation?' No, he did not fake his resignation, - all the people around him who hated him and who hate the Church faked his resignation.

We have not been misled by Pope Benedict. We have been misled by everyone else!
