Renewable energy industry booming despite struggling economy

Renewable energy like wind and solar has grown in popularity as use of oil and gas has dropped. Now, despite the struggling economy, the industry is booming. CBS News meteorologist and climate specialist Jeff Berardelli spoke with experts in the fields of clean energy and green economics about transitioning workers to a climate-conscious future.

I'm a current wind tech. While millions of people were being unemployed in March, April, & May, I quit my traveling tech for a site tech job. My old employer begged me not to leave and my current employer had that job offer pending my background check the whole time in April with no chance of it being rescinded. The wind industry is defiantly a secure career. I love it

It's already too late to maintain the environment at a stable level, best we can do is salvage
the greenhouse effect is gradual but if you're under 30, you'll see it at its worse within your lifetime

As soon as China gets called out for their pollution problem I might say we can start a small change BUT can we truly depend on "Fully natural energy" no we can't because nature is UNPREDICTABLE and currently we don't have stable enough technology to power a city as big as New York City and such. So please help me understand how you can overcome this ordeal? More resources that do more harm than good? Research for something that doesn't exist? Restrictions on how much power one can use? What about people who are on oxygen and need power to stay alive? If you have any suggestions I'd love to hear them

Now go out to California and see how well renewable energy is working for them. Rolling blackouts on a regular basis is the new normal for them. When the sun goes down and the wind stops blowing, California has no way to meet the energy needs of it's residents. This video never touched on the down sides to solar and wind as power sources. In fact this whole video feels like propaganda.
