I absolutely love that Michael and Eddie trades off vocals on the 2nd verse. I always enjoy when other members of a band take lead vocals: Richie singing “I’ll Be There For You” or any song Izzy or Keith Richards sings lead on. Those are always hidden gems.

Never seen/heard Gary Charone with Van Halen before, this is very excellent. Michael and Eddie are great singers too.

Performance-wise and set-wise, this is still the best VH tour I've seen from 88 onward. They blew the roof of the Garden when I saw them on this tour. Crowd was insane.

Eddie had a bada$$ rock voice.
I would love to find videos of Eddie singing but so far seems so rare.
Michael Anthony held his own with three different singers, four if you included Eddie singing harmony with him. Michael has an incredible voice and was so stellar in this band.

I liked Gary. I think that he had great energy and was a nice blend of Dave/Sammy. I feel like VH was trying to get a slightly younger guy in the band to help with bring youthful presence to it all. Say what you want, Gary had some huge shoes to fill and he did an amazing job.

Gary Cherone is the perfect vocalist for VH in my opinion. As he can do both DLR and SH era songs perfectly.

Really, really... really wished Eddie and Alex would have given Cherone just one more album to bring it all together. It may have actually been the 3rd coming. Now, we will never know. Such a shame.
