Arriving Finse on the Bergen Line

Approaching Finse on a Norwegian State Railways (NSB) service from Oslo to Bergen. The mountains between the east and west of Norway not only serve as a weather barrier. As we cross from Buskerud county (part of the Østlandet region) into Hordaland (part of the Vestlandet region), the dialect changes significantly. The landscape is more wild on the western side.
