Isn't New York just mind-blowing?! The theater district is remarkable. The food is the best. The culture is amazing. It's the center of the world.

Man I can't get enough of you two. I don't know what it is. I guess it's that you two are really interesting, always doing things and having interesting conversations. You're always so respectful towards each other. Lia is of course really cute.

I am just finishing up a 1 1/2 month visit to the UK.. I have to say, being here this long has given me a great appreciation for you Brits! I've even learned to enjoy beans and toast for "breakfast"! I traveled all over while I was here, and I surprisingly saved the best for last. I chose to stay in Brighton my last three days, because it's close to Gatwick..OMG it is the best! I love you two..You make me smile!

My 13yr old is always on the phone so I said to him, “you should try to learn something”. He shows me the phone and he was actually studying geography and country flags. I felt proud and dumb at the same time.

That was fun. I'm glad the weather cooperated for central park day. Mina is an MD? So young. Good for her!

(I'm doing this in Spanish for Joel). Soy de Nuevo Mexico, Estatdos Unidos. Aquí en Las Cruces, tenemos la mejor comida mexicana. Somos la casa de chile verde chile. Allá en Manhattan, hay un restaurante mexicano de estilo Las Cruces llamado La Flaca en Grand Street. Si te gusta la comida picante y tienes agallas, pruébala. Disfruta tu estancia.

I love Oatmeal (porridge)! I made it every morning for my own kids. Eat healthy, eat Oats! (I love to make apple crisp - which has oatmeal, brown sugar, and cinnamon in the topping. MacIntosh apples, golden delicious, and Jonathan are the best varieties to use for apple pies, apple crumble, apple crisp, etc.)
Joel, as a student of Spanish - concentrate on where you put the Stress on your words in Spanish. For example: el Papa = the Pope; El papá = the father; la papa = the potato; los Papas = the Popes; los papás = the fathers; las papas = the potatoes. By stressing different syllables, you change the meaning entirely, as illustrated! In Spanish the second-to-the-last syllable is ALWAYS stressed (has more UMPH!). That's why they use the accent marks - to show that the UMPH has moved to the syllable with the accent marker over the vowel. In English we say: SYL - luh - ble (3 syllables, with the stress on the first syllable) syl - LUH - ble is with the stress on the 2nd syllable, and syl-la-BLE (sounds like "sill- uh-BULL", in American English, that is). In English we just "know" by context, or it's intuition. (American and English accents differ, because sometimes we place the Stress different Syllables! So, watch - be careful! -to obey the accent marks and put the UMPH! on the correct place in the word - otherwise it's not correct, or you're saying something totally unintended!

Frederick Law Olmsted, father of American landscape architecture, designed/created Central Park. It was said of him, "He paints with lakes and wooded slopes; with lawns and banks and forest covered hills; with mountain sides and ocean views..".
I'm glad you two can see and appreciate his good works👍
