WARM SOCKS! important in vanlife. 45° might not seem that cold when you're just running from the house to a car & back, but when you're out in it 24/7, it's a whole different ballgame. It was 36° when I woke up this morning & there was frost on my windshield! You better believe I had some warm socks on. I stay out by the lake(fishing!) 90% of the time, so it is usually noticeably colder than in town.

In fact, good tip: I tuck my pajama pants into my socks while sleeping. This will prevent your pant legs from moving up & leaving your bare legs exposed, even if it IS under the covers, it will make a big difference in how warm you stay during the night. Actually, at this point, I wear long johns(top & bottom), sweat pants, socks, a hoodie & these little $4 knit gloves from Walmart. My hands were usually the only thing that got cold last winter, hence the gloves.

As of last night, my sleeping bag came out for the first time of the season to serve as a comforter on top of my normal bed covering, and it makes a WORLD of difference. I was perfectly comfortable, not a chill at all during the night. I also hang blackout curtains in-between the driving area & the bedding area of the van which blocks coldness radiating in from the windshield. That thing alone makes a *noticeable* difference in the inside temperature of the van!

Sorry for 'running off at the mouth', as my momma would say. LOL 😆

Hey about the video before this, I recommend getting a ac cooler, they aren't to pricey on Amazon
Because it is illegal to bring a pet into non pet friendly places because it is a health code violation because they are serving food but if you absolutely 'need' to they can't be in the cart because that's another health code violation

Aw man, we don’t have the taco kit in MD. That looks great. Buy their clothes too especially for my boys when they were growing up. Nice to be able to give a card to a son when they flew the coop and needed it to get started until they got their own 👍

you have to buy non food items at Costco right when you see it. Stuff sells out fast and they don't restock. Its on to the next season, even if it does seem to early

Costco membership fee pays for itself with the lower priced gas. It's the best price where I live. Also they have sales on electronics that can be better than Best Buy, with great warranties. Their clothes don't come in plus sizes, so if you are a larger person, there won't be anything that will fit you. The only downside I've found with Costco is the large quantities and the crowds. Congratulations on your new membership, and that's a nice table! 👍
