I just watched Angel’s podcast video and I think this needs to be made crystal clear….not all friendships are meant to last, or be something extremely close. Friends grow apart all the time which is completely normal and not something to make a huge deal over, but of course with social media people are gonna wanna make it into a huge deal. Me personally….I kind of lost some respect for Flau’jae after the allstar game, and the drama between her mom and Angel’s mom. Flau’jae just kind of gave me the vibe of “trying to become even more famous, off of my best friend’s fame” because since last year when people think of LSU now they immediately think about Angel and even Alexis Morris, while Flau’jae is sometimes brought up. I think her mother was a bit mad and jealous that Angel was becoming more well known than Flau’jae, and that’s why their moms had beef because what else could it have been? Both girls showed no visible and obvious signs of drama before the Kent State game (when the drama happened) and even before the season started so it must’ve been over Angel’s newfound fame in my opinion. Flau’jae’s mom still owes Angel an apology if she never apologized for what happened, and then for the allstar game that really irked me. Flau’jae knew damn well that both Angel and Caitlin were playing, she saw them both playing, and she was even sitting court side. While they aren’t close anymore there was no actual reason for why they couldn’t have still taken a quick picture together because she definitely managed to get one with Caitlin, posted it as her first picture of Allstar weekend and went on IG live during the game yelling at Caitlin to give her a jersey, (but not once did she call out Angel’s name or ask her for a jersey.) Flau’jae knew very well that the LSU fans were gonna be upset about that yet, went on IG live 1-2 days later and pulled a “you guys wanna make up these narratives” like no babygirl you’re the one who chose to do all of that, and posted all of it knowing damn well what would happen.” I do have respect for Angel for keeping it supportive and cordial with her, I just don’t get a good vibe from Flau’jae right now….but that’s okay because not all friendships are meant to last forever, or be extremely close. So unless Flau’jae posts something in regard to this, I think it’s time that we all leave them alone about their friendship and put this whole issue to rest (I stopped following Flau’jae after Allstar weekend.)

Would you be cool with someone if their mother attacked you in the public and then invited the ncaa and a pontential investigation into the program? By posting social media allegations and insults? Right after this angel left the team for a period of time and I am sure Kim Mulkey had to go back and ensure she was eligible to play and assist with making sure her business and academics were in order during those time lines especially when they won the championship. I don’t ever remember seeing a public apology from her mom so I’m sure they were never the same after this and I think this hindered the team chemistry. Also remember after this the team looked like they couldn’t wait for the season to be over.

Flau’jae was pushed to the floor by Kamilla in their game with SC and Angel turned around and walked the other way when other teammates rushed to her side so to see how buddy Angel and Kamilla became at the beginning of the season I’m sure Flau felt some type of way.
