Your Money: Where's my third stimulus check?

ST. LOUIS - If you're looking for your third stimulus check, you are not alone.

Cynthia Lucchetta said she went to the IRS payment tracker and discovered that she was eligible for the $1400 third stimulus payment -- problem is, that was months ago.

"I would feel better if I knew that 'Oh yes, so many other people have gotten the same thing, but I just can't seem to find anyone that has gotten that same message," said Lucchetta. "It's very frustrating."

There is an economic payment and recovery rebate credit line, and the IRS message says that only the first and second payments have been completed. That leaves one to assume the rollout for the third payment is still going. The IRS website also states that if you didn't get this third payment, it may be because your 2020 tax return is still being processed. Widespread reporting shows nearly 8.5 million individual tax returns are backlogged because of the pandemic.

The IRS hotline is 1-800-919-9835. When you call, a recording gives you prompts to listen to automated messages or wait to talk to a person. You do have to listen through the recorded content to connect with an agent.

I'm so upset never received it either. I filed my taxes in January and received my refund. I just haven't the 3rd stimulus. I guess we have to wait all the way to 2022 to get it.

Same with me. I never made anywhere near $75, 000.00. I am well qualified for the third stimulus payment that I NEVER received. The Get My Payment tool is a joke. It says that my check hasn't been processed yet or I'm not eligible. What? Not eligible? I received my $1, 200 and my $600 and my tax refund a long time ago. Still no third stimulus check. Where is it? Maybe the IRS is trying to figure out how to get taxes from this money. It is supposed to be non-taxable. That's why they want you to claim in on your 2022 tax return so they can take taxes out of it. My father did his taxes and he owed $1200. so they took his $600 stimulus and applied it to his taxes that he owed. He's a veteran and they did this to him. The IRS does not care about the economy. They want MONEY and that is that. We won't do anything for it but we want your money. They are desperately searching for a loophole.

Some people have said they called the irs and there is a territorial code xyz on their account showing they live in a territorial area such as Puerto Rico or quam . That code has to be then submitted to be released then check will come for the stimulus 6 to 8 weeks latter .all this is what others have stated to me

I am normally in the 1st batch, I don't have kids and have yet to get my 3rd stimulus($1400) and its too much focus on the child tax credit! Which they also call a stimulus. And they IRS says that all this information people are giving out is not accurate

I retired on March 28, 2020. That's probably what the IRS is trying to figure out. I probably get more money since my salary went way down. The IRS is probably saying, "what, she can't get all that money, that's too much. Calculate that again and again and again..." That's probably what's taking long.

I’m receiving the same message. I have received my tax return as well as the Additional child tax credit but no stimulus. Don’t understand myself.

I'm with you site says eligible but no payment date. Got tax refund in February and unemployment corrected tax refund in May, but still no 3rd round stim. I'm on SSDI and others on it got theirs in March and April. What gives? I'm having major back surgery Dec 2nd and could really use it now. Please IRS...

I also get you are eligible on the tracker site and my wife the same, it has said that since March, and i know my tax return has been filed and accepted but still today no payment for us!

I'm on SSDI and do not file a yearly tax return. I've read I'm still entitled but haven't received anything. Anyone have a similar situation or any feedback would be appreciated, thank you

I was told my 3rd stimulus check had been sent back 3 time we'll i called and they said yes to fill out the3911 form so i did i even checked the entremets and it said the same thing i talk to 3 people and they said I would get it in the mail then i called about it 2 days ago and the lady said it didn't show where it had been returned and i do have it on my phone that it had been sent back so what's the hold up i don't file taxes i am disabled and like everyone else i could really use the money
