Sly telling his crew to take Carmelita out of the blimp while he stays behind to fight Le Paradox is what a true leader Sly is. I can imagine how heart wrenching the part where Carmelita says “Sly...I...” and Sly saying “I know...Me too” so Sly telling his crew to get Carmelita to safety he saying it as an order like “That’s an order”

I imagine the regret Carmelita is going through, not having the chance to forgive Sly for lying to her.

I really do hope a future game does come one day. I don’t care who makes it, or continues where this left off, or just redcons this to favor the original trilogy, I just want a new game soon

Someone said this game wasn't as dark as the previous ones. Maybe not as dark as Sly Raccoon (which had some REALLY dark stuff if you look into it deep enough), but I would disagree with the rest.

This game had Sly's entire ancestry on the line. His very FAMILY was at risk of being wiped from existence, or at least their history, had he not taken action against it. The villains also had serious tones of their own:

El Jefe - Was a mercenary general that took over many small countries, could use lightning and fire, and seemed like the most brutal villain in general

Toothpick - Was a gold thief who was a bit unhinged, unflinching at accidentally killing one of his own and had a police officer stuck inside a stagecoach to be thrown off a cliff, simply to lure out the Cooper Gang

The Grizz - Stole and used pterodactyl eggs, which are essentially unborn pterodactyl BABIES, to create cave paintings he would use to scam himself back into fame in the present day

Penelope - While her betrayal was questionable at best, she betrayed and tried to rake Bentley into her schemes to get money and power, and was willing to kill the entire Cooper Gang for that purpose

Ms. Decibel - Manipulated people into committing crimes for her, thus possibly tricking the police into believing they were the cause of the crimes and not her, and kept three ancient thieves under wraps using deadly hypnotic tunes

Le Paradox - Was willing (and possibly planning) to abandon his allies throughout time after having one of them create fake ancestral documents for himself to make him all-powerful in the present day, on top of secretly being a worldwide thief hiding his true ambitions under an art collector guise

So I say for shame to those who think it's not dark. At the vest least, it's quite serious.

Really hate that they left him out like that and no further game in the series that really pisses me off

Do you think that it would’ve been better if La Paradox was sent to Egypt and there he meets Clockwerk, but in his Mortal Form?
