As a guy who’s been asked by everyone since middle school if he was queer (I’m not so nice terms a lot of the times), this question gets very annoying very quickly. Especially the disbelief that happens after you say you’re not “really? You’re not? You have to be a little? Really??” Like yes really, I said I’m straight, I meant it. Imagine if the roles were reversed. “Really? You’re not straight? Are you sure you’re not? Cmon with the way you act, I could’ve sworn it”. Like, stop trying to throw people into labels just because of how they act. That’s what we call a generalization which is what I thought the queer community was trying to steer away from.

Poor trevor. I'm not gay, but because i was single for awhile, someone who was close to me kept asking me if i was to the point that it was very uncomfortable.i must have said no over a dozen times. It was worse than this. They said i gave off vibes... I'm a fat slob with no fashion sense, so i don't know how i was giving them those vibes. Maybe it's my voice too. I don't talk to them as much as i used to.

I think if you ask and the person tells you no, then drop it. If they aren't, quit trying to get them to say they are. If they are, maybe they're not ready to come out. so just drop it.

Pretty much everyone I meet thinks I’m bisexual, and I thinks it’s honestly really funny. Several friends have been physically taken aback when they first hear me say that I’m straight.

I agree with the person in the comments who said, "If Trevor had felt uncomfortable with the questions, they wouldn't have shown this bit." He was not feeling bad, and they knew the bit would add more to the video. Maybe they agreed on doing it before filming. Besides, we all know "it's an internal bit/joke from Smosh", as someone else said in the comments, but many people believe he's actually queer, so, this was also a clarification.

So, having the bit at the beginning of the video clarifies it and also catches your attention to continue watching it.
