I love how at the beginning, Francoeur sings "I", makes a confused noise, then sings the song.
Like he hadn't known he could sing.
Like he took 2 seconds to learn enough French to sing a a song he wrote on the spot.
And then he learned guitar in like 10 minutes.

I love this haunting melody. It grabs me by the heart and refuses to let go. Incongruity in music appeals to me and this is one of my favorites though I adore jazzy tunes with a deep well controlled female vocal too. Sigh, it is too rare.
