I thought i was the only one to get fishing elbow. (I don't play tennis) about 10 years ago i bought a diawa ss 700 and put it on a 6' st croix for casting artificials on the flats/ beach and my fishing elbow went away. Its my most used rod. Great video.

I have a fishing reel that actually works with carbon fiber washers, 12 lb drag. It is a solid setup. The fishing reel itself weighs 4.64 Oz. It is on my micro Rod. ( Telescopic ) That had a modded foam handle that when extended the complete rod leak is 23 and 3/4 in Long. The rod and reel together ially like 5.16 Oz. That means my rod and reel weighs less than you're real

It ain't a piece of crap. This is a beast of a little real. My personal best on it. Is about an 8 and 1/2 lb catfish. The fishing reel cost me around 20 bucks the rod cost me about eight bucks. Got both of them off of Amazon so for around $28.

I just destroyed your entire setup. And I use this in my ultra backpacking setup. I hike into some really deep remote country with this kit. So I want to keep it as light and compact as possible.

And on average I cast about 65 yd with it using 8 lb braided line with a 6 lb four carbon liter. And with my kit I carry an additional spool that carries 125 yd of leader line and enough extra braided line to respool the the entire reel. And my entire kit if the bake bag artificial lures sinkers artificial bait everything. The entire kit weighs like 11.62 Oz.

So give or take about an ounce give or take?. My entire kit tackle box. Everything only weighs about an ounce more than your whole fishing pole setup.

Now I'll say that setup is lighter than most people's. You could do better !

my exist sf slp 2500 with a 7ft evergreen scout master rod... combine is 6.9oz with braid line ... very light weight but the price was very heavy at 800$ reel and rod 450$

You should try daiwa airity superfinesse. 2500 is 135 grams and cost 375 from digitaka

Very nice reel. I’m not a fan of the US market only offers a “D” version. I’d like this reel if it had the shallow spool option. Otherwise, for the money just get an Airity

The 5000 line retrieve on the box says like 44” on their web page it says like 34”, which can’t be correct, it’s a bigger spool ? Please verify this, thanks.

For a little more its a lot lighter than theShimano S ustain. Will it hpld up? Ive had problems with the Exceler and the Ballistic. In fact i tried to have the factory work on the Ballistic and they said they couldn't take on the liability. Im just a week end warrior so im not going to spend that kind of money to fish. Zero issues with the Sedona and the Stradic Ci4.

The reel is Super Smooth, Super Light, and holds just over 26 LBS of drag in a 5, 000 size. The bail wire folded on me like a paper It is HOLLOW METAL AND PAPER Mine broke the first time I fished it and I am still waiting just about 3 weeks for Daiwa to fix
