i absolutely agree with everyone who said they'd rather see more reworks of old champions than getting new champions on the rift, i love this rework

i love how other champion's spotlights have flashy dashes or game changing mechanics. meanwhile udyr's just here slapping people in 4 different ways

I like how they kept him a simple auto attack based character like he was instead of giving him 3 dashes like every new character in the last few years

I really believe Riot should focus on reworking champs for the next year and hype them like new champion releases. This and the Volibear rework were so epic

I absolutely love the fact that they changed each stances to fit with all the demigod of Freljord instead of random animals, while still apparently keeping the same concept as the original stances

Old Tiger form is now the Thunder Bear form inspired by Volibear, the Thousand-Pierced Beast

Old Bear form is now the Fire Ram form matching Ornn, the Firebringer

Old Turtle form seems to be the Iron Boar and the only of the 4 demigod we don't have currently in game being Ildhaurg, the Warden of Sacrifice.

Old Phoenix form is changed to be the Ice Phoenix form matching Anivia, the Frostbringer

I appreciate what they did with his body. Could have easily made him shredded with perfect abs, but instead they went for a rounder yet muscular build. Just seems to fit well.

Even if he isn't A or S tier, definitely gonna see more play and I will be playing him more because that looks SOOO much better than his old PS1 model

man i love how they tied his stances into the lore of the freljord. the way his abilities reference the other champs from that region is pretty neat

This rework is amazing, truly feels like an old classic brought back to life, looks very modern but the concept is very old league content and i love it

This trailer had me rolling. Every new trailer champ has the champ dashing 10 times and 15 abilities that leave you saying WTF. Udyr's trailer just has him AAing people 3 times in the difference stances.

I really like how they actually made him look like a wildman who lives in the wilderness rather than just give him a stereotypical video game action hero body.

I really love that they gave him a strongman body build now. It kinda also makes more sense reastically, when someone lives in a climate as cold as Freljord, you gotta have a little bit of fat with you, especially if one of your characteristics is meditating a lot.

I appreciate that the new design makes him look like a Strong Man and not a Body Builder. Very fitting design choice 👌

Really like how hes channeling the friejlord gods powers instead of random spirits. Love seeing Volibear, Ornn and Anivia in his new abilities.

I love how there are some elements to his kit that are easily recognisable even if they are different like the ram stance being bear and the boar stance being turtle (probably)
