Scratchbuilding I've done: ponds, rock formations and hills, ladders, tank dissuaders, walls, hedges and bushes, a mott and bailey castle, water elementals, crabs. Also toybashing and kitbashing aplenty. It's fun!

Orks are canonically scratch-builders, so I love seeing builds like these! I don't watch many of your painting videos but your DIY content is great stuff.

I recently finished building a HUGE Ork base/gun turret using an old traffic cone base and building from there, using lots of stuff from my many, many bitz boxes and some old super squirter rifles from a charity shop. It's looking pretty awesome already, to say the least, but has yet to be painted, as I don't know which faction to paint it for. I may make it a Bad Moon terrain piece, as they always seem to make more interesting terrain style pieces, and seem more technical minded, and fun to make things for :-) The base itself is huge, with lots of little areas already cut out that could easily be used for dug-out type areas, as they take a 30mm base nicely. The Gunn turret is truly Orky, with absolutely massive squirter gun rifle barrels and the water containers looking like huge plasma generators sticking up out of the rear of the emplacement. My old Ork crazy friend has helped me build this gigantic piece of terrain/madness, and he collects my Bad Moon themed Stompers that I made as a side project for a while, and is making noises about his birthday coming up, and how he would love a "present" like what I've been making for his huge Ork army. So I may add a few Bad Moon pieces made from cereal boxes or stiff cardboard and go that way, and then break out all my old yellow paints of many varieties, and see how it goes from there. I LOVE this video, as I love making Ork stuff, even though I don't play any GW games anymore. I just love diving into my many bitz boxes, and playing around with what I find, and just let the madness take over for a while :-D Glue guns do make sticking things together so much easier, and I agree that the overflow of glue really makes the Ork "welding skills" come alive when the paint's dried and varnished much later :-D I love your creativity here, and will have to go and make some Ork vehicles later, as you've inspired me yet again with this video :-D Please keep them coming, as they're both fun to watch and fun to gain ideas from, too. :-D :-D

there is nothing like a good old fasion scratch build. orks are extremely good at building stuff from scratch even when its a shock that it works. the tank looks really cool feel ready for an ork Whaaagh!

That turned into a great looking tank from scratch! I did try a scratch build of a Wasteland war bike for the Mega Construx site and will likely try some more vehicles. I'd like to see you try something for Mega Construx figures again.
