feather only takes "ages to start" because you have to stay tabbed in feather launcher for it to launch, if you have the tab minimized it's not gonna work, but it takes like 2 seconds longer than vanilla launcher sometimes less 😭

i was really excited for feather when i first heard about it. i bought access to the beta and it was really helpful for when i wanted the fps boost and customizable mods, however like once a week an update would come out that would break it and i couldn't use it for a few days. i have a more powerful computer now and i find using feather to be more clunky and slow when booting up or navigating the menu so i prefer to use fabric with multimc instead.
i'm still excited for the future of feather though and if they can iron out the startup issues i'd definitely consider it as a serious option again.
